the biggest advantage in tf2 is being able to pick your fights. Jump out when it's a losing battle, jump in to secure a pick
simple bog standard dive bombs works unreasonably well, but I really wouldn't skip out on your pogos and syncs. syncs just means you can damage sync so much easier and pogos are really good for rollouts
