Eh, I'm basically old now by game standards. Mingling with random people would have been fine once, but now I'd just want some people to chill with on the weekend. I would still like to go just once, but traveling all the way to Vegas is all the way across the country for me. Its not something I'd want to do alone unless I was actually entering I think. But maybe I can convince a friend to go next year finances permitting. I have at least one who used to casually play fighting games with me but mostly quit because I'm at the level where I'm really trash, but better than anyone I know in person and it puts them off of playing. Maybe they'd just like to be there for the experience or casual play.
