I'm working on an old box of Chaos Warriors my friend had laying around and generously gifted me. These are my first figures ever. Had a total blast assembling and even more fun painting. I only bought the colors recommended on the box along with an extra red for plumes and two shades for shading. Been trying to mix colors and try something a little new with each figure. I'm pretty happy with how they've been turning out so far, though I'm finding Gehenna Gold a tricky paint to work with consistency-wise. My plan is to base them all when I'm done painting.
I've still got 8 doods to go but I've decided that I enjoy this enough that I want to slowly assemble a WoC army. Any recommendations for the next unit I should get? I was thinking Marauders to practice skin tones.
