Men, by nature are tied to the spiritual; women are not. Hence, men even without organized religion are able to maintain principles & order (dharma/natural law), and organize & build civilization. Women are not tied to the spiritual by nature; they must have a tangible (earthly) religious order on which to model their behavior; They need a religion revealed to them by men, to provide them the earthly guidance they crave and require to fulfill their function as mothers and wives. They need to be shown the earthly image of the spiritual order that only man can perceive, translate to the women, and gift to them so that they can fulfill their promordial role as mothers and wives.
