Is there any way to spot if a marvel legends figure is used?
There's a toy market near my house every weekend and they sell tons of marvel legends
But sometimes those fuckers sell used figures at retail price, all they do is wash the figure with water and soap, put tape on the box and charge you up to 50$ dollars if the figure is old
Saw a spider girl Anya corazon for 40$ brand new from a guy there and he sent me this pic
Everything seems in order, but I really want it to be brand new if I'm paying fucking 40$
Otherwise I'd just pay 10$ for a used one on eBay
Asking because I've already bought a used figure there (japanese one)
Got home and when I got her out of the box she was fully covered in dust, wince it was a 15 y/o figure and had the cover plastics, hype got the best of me and didn't notice
Another time bought a mafex psylocke and storm collectibles Mai which were new
But the boxes didn't have tape which worried me cause I paid a fucking lot for them
They were clean, box smelled like "new" when you open a new figure but I found it suspicious
Bought a deluxe dark Phoenix last weekend, had the tape and smell and all, but now I'm unsure about buying there unless it's a blister
But I know this fig is from 2012 and seems "legit"
I've no problem buying loose, but for the right price!
Does that mean I can sell my old figs fir the price of new ones?
