A few days ago I was drinking with a woman friend I have. We were talking about this and that and suddenly a topic regarding history came up. Neither of us were sure of the specific details, so she told me to "ChatGPT it."

I told her that I didn't trust AI for history details because it tends to fail, misrepresent or even make up details to which she replied "well, just ChatGPT it and then check if it's true on another source."

She got really defensive once I pointed out that it would take less time and effort to just check it out on a reliable source and using ChatGPT was a useless extra step. Weird.
