It's not thaaaat important outside solo, the more you micromanage your summons the less damage you yourself are going to be doing
it makes more sense in solo where if the bosses are distracted by your summons you get to output a lot of damage, but in a lot of cases in multiplayer summon and forget unless you're trying hard to preserve buffs or the skeleton to pick people up
