Actual tier list

S: Recluse, Revenant, Ironeye. Range is busted, FP is plentiful, most bosses can't do crap against these characters. Revenant can carry with lighting spam, Recluse with magic spam, Iron with broken bows. If you lose with one of these in your team they single handedly lost you the match. Imagine having infinite damage at range so you can avoid 99% of attacks and still not being able to carry, generally these three attract the worst players which balances out how OP they actually are.
A: Executor, Duchess, Raider. Executor has a toggle invincibility mode and the ability to start with a bleed+frost weapon, if you can't carry with it, consider going back to fortnite, the only reason hes not in S is because hes melee. Duchess has the most broken dodge of any Souls ever, if you got hit you brought shame on your family. Raider is A- tier, he can walk through damage but his playstyle is boring as sin and his ult is irredeemable dogshit. Attracts a mix bag of players, sometimes good, sometimes shit.
C: Wylder. The beef stock cube of Nightreign, doesn't being anything good but just a base line for all other characters to compare to, wildly over-stated in his power level, his kit is just so simple people wrongly think hes good because the average person does better with him than when they pick more complex characters. These players are never good, but hes so simple its hard not to at least deal some damage to enemies.
F: Guardian. I love you bird man, but you suck, brings nothing and does nothing except for trash clear, the most worthless of qualities. Typically the worst of players or the best challenging themselves, no middle ground.

Is implicitly the main protagonist going by how much all the other's Remembrances focus on him and how he's featured in the marketing (including being on the cover).

Executor feels great when you put Seppuku on his starting katana and also use this relic.
Seppuku and r1 on enemy that are weak to bleed. For other enemies have a good weapon ready to swap. Seppuku yourself first for a 20% dmg buff from your passive then swap weapons. The buff lasts 20 seconds and persists through weapon swaps.
Black Knife's weapon art feels great with this, chewed through giga Pest.
