These little Xs that come up during Encounters (I think when a character is ACTing?) appear to be gendered. Kris' and Ralsei's both have little extensions on the ends while Susie and Noelle's are rounded off.

It could actually mean something else/nothing at all honestly but it's the only 'obvious' correlation right now.
