"Tweening" cartoons refer to cartoons with a lot of puppet animation. Same angles with little shot diversity.

It's okay if you don't like the style of animation but the varied shapes angles and movement isn't anything close to what a "tweened" puppet show is. That's not a valid reason and if you can't tell the difference, I really don't know what to tell you.
