I think I'm in a unique situation and don't know how to proceed further.

I've been working on this sandbox type game and recently a youtuber/streamer has started playing it.
even since they started playing it I've received a decent bump in downloads and even a couple of donations (my game is free on itchio).
the guy who played my game is a well enough pretty stand up guy but I want to know the best course of action from here on out.
so far this guy is giving my game some decent advertisement and I'm hoping more people with a following will play it too.
should I bend to them by making stuff in game, easter eggs or item that references them, pander to them stuff like that?
I usually wouldn't sellout like this but if I can make this project be fotm, I really want to rake in as much cash as possible, assuming it does become fotm, nevertheless that's too high a bar to expect but if I can gain some more fans I might have to take it.
thoughts on this situation? I feel like this is a slippery slope towards what VoTV became, a streamerbait pandering environment that lost most of it's genuineness.
and what are your guys' thoughts on Voice of The Void?
