Meanwhile all they've achieved is leaving sweats with fewer options to outplay other players; and in the case of Smash 4, Smash Ultimate, and every Mario Kart game, a degenerate, imbalanced meta that's the product of neglect. You cannot stop sweats from sweating.
Splatoon is probably the exception to this because it's designed to be competitive, but I don't play it.
