I'm not perfect or a speedrunner but I used Steam's built in video thing to capture the exact time until I got in the ship. Weird thing is how close I was with my time estimate of 5-10 minutes

Slower because I had to load from my freighter, fly onto the spacestation, reload while on the space station twice to get ships to respawn, and this is for a ship that isn't custom or specific parts. Just a couple random fighters thrown together. Almost 9 minutes MINIMUM instead of a menu that lets you buy and pick the parts you want exactly as you want them. You could get it down to around 5 if you had an optimal starting setup
