Sonamyfags hate this ship because it's more windpilled than their non-canon nonsense.
Unlike Amy, Cream isn't going to expect romantic gestures from Sonic or be clingy. She genuinely just wants to accompany him on adventures and isn't pushy with his comfort zone.
This is a far healthier dynamic than anything Sonic and Amy could ever have.
The two's friendship is natural and can easily evolve into something more the more adventures they go on together and more trust they learn to place in each other.
Amy? She's too much.
Tails? He'd rather play around with a tablet and I doubt Sonic swings that way.
