Could it have been better written? Of course, Sonic X just doesn't have good writing in the first place half the time, especially character-wise. But regardless, Tails and Cosmo's relationship had a beautiful climax, and that's all that matters.

I like how the SEGA store solidifies Shadow as the second main character of the series.

As much as I like Tails, I too prefer playing as Gamma. However that's only because of the controls. Tails and Eggman are a lot slower in SA2 compared to Gamma.
