I want to like GF2 but I guess Hoyo games ruined gachas for me (in terms of what to expect from a gacha in production quality)
I guess my biggest gripes with GF2 right now are:
>no voice acting in all the events, just the "important" ones
>I always notice like half a dozen typos on the current event's script
>the story so far is nowhere near as engaging as in GF1 (although I've heard rumors that the game recently went through a "re-write hell" and the current events available in China are actually "good" in terms of story)
The only things I personally like about GF2 over Hoyo games would be that I feel that the other game modes and event mini-games are nowhere near as cancerous or tedious as in Hoyo games, and that I really like the concept of "X-COM but with anime girls" and there's nothing like that on the market afaik
