I've never played a game of competitive TF2 in my life and I think shit like 6's is silly as hell. But just because a game isn't "competitively designed" doesn't mean we need to flood the sandbox with gmod-tier weapons and dilute the game's original flow/purpose.

"Balancing" TF2 is kind of a moot point now since the problem isn't so much that some weapons are broken or just need to be touched up, but more that many weapons just shouldn't exist at all and now they've put themselves in this situation where they need to clean up their own mess and it's not like they can just remove the offending weapons. The more weapons that fall into this category, the more difficult this becomes exponentially.

Well, I guess that's what mods are for. I should look into what people are doing since they released the Source tools or whatever.
