I am so fucking tired of seeing the girlboss archetype in modern television.
Rhaenys is by far the worst example of it in recent history. A self-important haughty unpleasant woman that rarely does anything right, yet the narrative expects us to believe she's always badass and right. She's a ballbuster who just sends smug boorish "clapbacks" to everyone around her and we're supposed to pretend it's fukken epic because it slots neatly into the trite gender essentialist bullshit the show operates by.
The moment modern television stops with this shit, we'll stop mentioning it.
