The more interesting thing I notice is that the right is ideologically divided but rightists typically have a unifying attitude, while the left is ideologically unified but leftists typically have a divisive attitude.

Rightists are always trying to find common ground between their different ideologies, for example white nationalists are often familiar with libertarian theory and know how to express their beliefs and goals in libertarian terms, which allows them to cooperate with libertarians despite having different beliefs. In contrast leftists are always trying to police each other and find fault with each other despite sharing the same ideology. They all agree that racism, sexism etc is bad, but they are always trying to henpeck each other for not being anti-racist enough, not being anti-sexist enough etc, which makes it difficult for them to cooperate with each other despite having the same beliefs.
