i splurged and got me an edelbrock avs2, 1906 model. electric choke and annular flow boosters. haven't been able to test drive it but from what pretty much everyone that bought one says, the throttle is very responsive.
for my fuel line i used 5/16 coated steel, man that was a pain in the ass to bend.
