Everyone plays up the "next game is DEAD because everyone is going to keep playing the old one", but in reality that's just not the case. Existing players + new players always move onto the next release. People who actually stick with older titles are a minority. Should they nuke all traces of Battlefield 2 from the internet because some diehards are still playing it on private servers, for example?
