Modern devs just straight up don't get colors. Like the concept of their mere existence confuses the ever-loving shit out of them. They exist in the age of minimalism, so all they understand is pure black and white. They're stupid, basically. It's why you can pick any literal who game from the N64 or PS1 and it mogs the fuck out of any modern game visually because the developers actually used creativity and colors to create environments.
