That is the brutal part of that whole situation. My fuck up was definitely worse, and I was able to learn and grow.
She made a mistake mishandling her situation and shattered trust in everything she loved or believed in... and technically she wasn't in the wrong for not taking me back.

Makes me realized how much I was to her. You could argue she would have taken me back if I were so great in her eyes, but the cost of my benefits was putting up with me. And honestly, I was depressed and insufferable.
She tried drawing a line. She was right to do so. But her mistake was the classic woman mistake.

She wanted it both ways.

Had she of just drew the line, and took a beat to realize me being gone meant some of those social ties go too (not all, just some) she would have had it all and eventually I would have stopped being a faggot....
Hell, ironically we may have gotten back together because I was considered one of the most attractive guys in school after summer, and had she spent her time alone and not talked to me we probably would have had some insanely dramatic reunion and jokes about "she told him to grow the fuck up and quit carrying so much emotional weight around so he got fit and grew to 6ft."

Women need to realize by trying to always have it both ways they frequently end up losing both things, where if they accept the losses associated with their choices they frequently can keep both things long-term
