Depends how loud the bike is. On my zx14 with long dual pipes, I pulled them out because it's kinda quiet. I usually put the db killer in if I'm commuting because it's dumb loud and I don't want to piss people off too much. I know for certain that I pass a lot of the same cars with regularity.
