It's more cope. "Ah, if only our politicians weren't being blackmailed by Israel, then they'd agree with me." They're probably not being blackmailed in reality, they actually are into Israel for the love of the game. What that cope also does is make people who really do want to change things in a radical direction put their trust instead in "outsider" politicians like Trump who rugpull them. Does anyone think if Trump is being blackmailed? He's shameless, it's probably impossible to blackmail him about anything.
