I'm fine but my friend just got sent home from the hospital after a week and a half. Came in late with the burst appendix so it spread a bunch of infectious material around, couldn't do surgery - too risky, antibiotics weren't doing it until they installed a drain for the abscesses. Should be in the clear for now but he's in no condition to ride off the grid for 2 weeks.
