In Red States
Remember Houston TX, and Miami FL, aren’t nearly as bad. Miami cost 3/4 what an 800k house in NYC does and pays 4k more on average with no state income tax. Houston is half of what an apartment costs in LA and it offers similar salary and economy.
These are facts. Red states pay more after taxes and bills for the salary.
