In particular, its those two. Deep Black and Skeleton Brown.
I have a couple other colours, like a dark green and also a flesh colour, but brown and black are (for my purposes) clearly the best and most useful. "Papyrus" is a nice light sepia style brown, and it works nicely for bones, but if you dont plan to build an army of skeletons, i'm not sure if 60ml are needed. I bought it together with the other brown to see which looks better actually.
If i compare both black and brown with lets say Black Templar Contrast and Cygor Brown Contrast, then they are weaker and less vibrant, but its actually this that i like about them.
I usually prime black, and then do a white zenithal spray with a spraycan. The black works very nicely to create a worn looking black, and it is also excellent on top of anything painted in gunmetal, and i often use it instead of a black wash.
I also usually apply texture paste before priming, so the earth ends up pretty grey-white-ish from the rattlecan. This brown stuff is my go-to to basically create an earthy look again. Same on texture paste on tank tracks. I basically use it as a cheap heavy brown wash. I would not use cygor brown for that, because it is way to strong so i would need to thin it and the contrast medium costs another 6€, and thats obviously way to expensive to just cover bases with it.
I could do the same stuff with craftpaint and thinner, but one of those bottles costs 3,74€ from GSW directly, so its a perfect and super cheap solution to any dark metallic and earth things in my personal painting process.
