I can’t explain why I hate 3 probably due to to hating Kiddy Kong as kid but I have played every DK game but 3 (and Bananza) several times

To b fair I don’t think Nintendo would agree to doing a joint venture because they understand that their name is important and they want to keep that name only available in one place. Any time spent on Banjo would be better spent on one of their IPs
Microsoft is retarded because Nintendo uncharacteristically rolled out the red carpet for Banjo so hard Sakurai going “Play Banjo on Xbox” became a meme and Phil did nothing for that momentum. Literally the only thing that happened post Smash was that you can play B&K on Switch.
