Women aren't proof of the failure of democracy, it's Trump voters. I get that it's hard to have the time and to put in the effort to understand things like how inflation is CPI, corporations were recouping on covid losses, and egg prices were high because of bird flu, but believing Trump could do something to make things better for Americans when he never talked about the described the problem and the solution, shows how easily impressed by vibes they are and don't care about being lied to if they can at least feel good about the lies.

The biggest thing Idiocracy got right is leadership needing to tell you they can talk to plants and leave out the part about relying on expert and informed opinion.
