Anyone has played exclusevly as a powerful vassal/council member for the whole game as diligent and serving member of his crown in CK2 or even playing as a character that prioritize the "Raison d'état" over dynastic domination?
I imagine it would go like this :
>Put son as king
>Even create a cadet dynasty through a mod/marti marriage for maximum RP
>Help this branch to be powerful and remain powerful
>You still remain a faithful servent of the crown, always either be chancelor/grand vizier
>Negociate your liege marriage with good mashup
>Push their claim if it needs be and remain the man behind the throne that controls everything
I think it seems possible as a Merchant Republic with the HRE or under the Byzantine, pushing claims of other rulers and all that so the empire expand but you still hold the real power on the coucil and by being rich as fuck.
