Ironically I mostly learned to skate from a couple of chicks lol. Jokes aside, it is difficult and takes a lot of practice; you have to be prepared to take a lot of falls. At the skate park, there were a surprising number of hotties who could shred, but most of the girls roller bladed or just chilled out there.
Skating is really hard to git gud at. I found it easier to pull tricks on the BMX (even if I busted my balls a few times). Huge respect to anyone who puts in the work to become a competent skateboarder, complex tricks elude me.
