This is also a issue i have with Monsterhunter and other games installed on this drive, it does not "SAVE" things - for example; I cannot SAVE my game in Monster Hunter wilds unless I play it on admin mod. I cannot save loadouts in HD2 at all - period (I have never played in admin mods but this has been a thing since launch - it does not save keybinding saves, helmets, uniforms, nothing - Vanilla or modded)
I am running this shit on a WD Black Sn770 and it does NOT seem to want to save things, I have right click on the drive and made sure everything is set to read/write but the issue still exists..... actually I just saw there was a firmware update for the drive.. this thing has been a piece of shit
