I saw these full metal air revolvers in the store and I've been wondering, and this is going to sound absolutely unhinged, but

>made entirely out of sturdy metal
>it uses CO2 to fire 4.5mm
What is actually preventing someone (besides the law, and common sense) from just removing the CO2 internals and replacing the fake hammer with an ACTUAL hammer and shooting rimfire with it? This seems like the easiest and most obvious illegal gun ever
