I find it fascinating how the Hagia Sophia provided the template for mosques in the Ottoman empire for the rest of its existence. I actually like the post-1453 mosques and how the imperial architects innovated on the Hagia Sophia's style, they made some beautiful buildings with genuine SOVL.
