Because Saber and Phainon both have him as BiS. Sundayfags, (of which there are many) are getting their comeuppance after the Castorice/Herta mains said he was a brick pull.

Phainon is a big main push dps. Sunday has always been super relevant for a ton of comps, it just didn't matter that Agalea and Mydei needed him as well, because they were 2nd patch brick dps. Casotice and Herta didn't need him so thus he was irrelevant. Phainon being the new hot shit means he's back on top.
