GBA games, FE7 and 8 are on NSO, they are easy to emulate. And if u really want to play on OG hardware they aren't THAT expensive but still a chunk of moneyz. I suggest sacred stones to start but the other one blazing blade (just called Fire Emblem in the US) isnt bad but has a painful tutorial so if you choose that you gotta get past that annoying barrier. You can prob find a save that beat the game once thus allowing you to skip it. Due keep in mind 100$ saves will prevent you from filling out the support library. If you like completing games urself just keep that in mind
Or you can be crazy like me and buy pic related off ebay and start with Binding Blade, its not as easy to jump into but repo carts are cheaper then the other two official carts
Just putting it out there too story wise you can play anything except Mystery of the Emblem (isnt the worst but I would still play shadow dragon first) Radiant Dawn, Therica 776, and Three Hope (spin off but just putting it out there)
