As first impressions go that was...hm. I may have to mull on it for a bit
It's not BAD or anything but previously mentioned criticisms like the MC speedrunning hate and despair to accept the lightning spino as a teacher do stick out
You could have easily changed this to just having her mother get badly wounded and thus left out of the beginning of the hero journey instead of trying to LBT it and make her start with the loss of a family member
I'm totally on board with more dino time and think I like the audacious nonsense of the premise being Land Before Time meets VLD but the constraints of this being a small timer indie project do show already with the aforementioned light speed pace of certain developments
We'll see if another episode is ever made and how things go from here

Oh, and I'll already make the prediction that the brother raptor will be ensnared by the evil space niggers and become a nemesis
