And I can relate to this other poster in that, when reading Elliot Rodger's writings, there was a recognition that he thinks about himself in a similar manner as I had when younger, and also had the same type of writing style as I recalled when making private journal or blog posts during high school and college.
He or someone else also pointed out how Elliot had sensorimotor difficulties in crowded places- in high school hallways, at house parties, etc. where he wanted ot fit in and be sociable, while at the same time, find it had to even walk when there are constantly people moving around and blocking your path.
But as I've often reflected on 4chan, the main difference between my development and that of ER was that I developed self-awareness. After being in different schools and workplaces, plus actually talking to people and listening to they feedback, not emotionally reacting and taking everything as an insult, I figured out that the issue is actually me, I am very different, and appear strange to normals. Didn't get formally diagnosed with autism until 30 though,
