Lacy frilly stuff is ego boosting, it's stylish, its expected that you're going to feel cool wearing it the same way a set of boots make you feel cool, difference being that ego boost is personal and private, and, being that it's the first thing you put on in an outfit, wouldn't it be reasonable to presume that 1st step be the most opulent?
and wouldn't it be reasonable to say that the smallest garment in your outfit say the most?
And wouldn't it be right to say that the closest garment to your body speak not only about the outfit, but also about the person wearing it especially since it's a private personal part of the ensemble?
Honestly It gives you confidence knowing every layer of your outfit can stand on it's own merits for whatever situation you find yourself in, it means you're prepared for anything!
