why the fuck can't you just adopt without marriage?
>devs say that adoption system is meant so experienced players adopt new players
>devs say that the adopted players need to grow up and emancipate as part of their development, that is the intention
>can't actually adopt without marriage
So, let me get this straight, in order to use these skills to better hang out with a friend that is new to the game, I must get a second friend, propose him into a gay marriage, and pretend to be fag husband and wife with him, just to get the first friend handy teleportation skills to help him not get lost. Also since we'll both be lvl 70 we'll not be leveling side by side with the friend, who'll receive a massive 30% penalty to HP and SP, only making it harder for him.
Why not allow anyone to adopt at any level!?
>tell friend to join game
>create new character
>either I adopt him or he adopts me
>we get teleportation skill to each other
>it comes with a 30% penalty to one of us so it's not broken
>baby character can just play following up on the targets of the big character
>in about 1 or 2 days of grinding the stats should be near the cap of the baby so you can tell your friend to get emancipated and try playing on his own
Gravity is so unhinged they don't understand theory vs practice. They invent a system that they think will work a certain way, it doesn't work, they don't mind, and leave it that way forever.
