The truth that no one is ready for.

Gunrun, Apek, and Melody were the main culprits of the downfall. They worked to raise up the image of vshojo to garner attention from venture firms for seed money. They poached popular names like Kson and miguel gato (I'm laughing too) for brand power and to craft the image of a profitable talent first company. But most importantly they discovered a secret. They had blackmail on Ironmouse after discovering her medical condition wasn't real and held it over her to glaze the company, recruit Puerto Rican shills to counter oppositions, and be the face of vshojo. She was the lovable cute sick girl no one could accuse of anything, and the mighty cudgel that threatened to destroy the career of anyone bold enough to speak against vshojo. Don't you dare say a thing about vshojo missing payments, spoofing auditions, trying to poach people, etc. This is why SO many people, in and out of vshojo, are speaking out now. You can't blame these fools, had they tried to expose anything they would've been murdered on the street by a podcaster with trash taste in anime. Their perfect image was used to garner funding as this mythical unicorn company that somehow could make money come out of thin air. The glitz, the glamour, the awards; it was all smoke and mirrors.

The initial plan was to run a "talent first" vtuber company but they quickly realized this wasn't working. Nothing panned out and they were bleeding money. Eventually the investment firm, vshojo's creditors started requested returns on the $11 million they seeded to vshojo. If this bombed then Gunrun with his shitty backpack could never show his face in silicon valley again. Now the real dilemma- unlike Cover corp, they can't go public because this company makes no profit; it's a real shitshow. This is where the blackmail comes in. The three decide to embezzle the remaining funds over the next few years to pad their savings after they eventually crash the company. Multiple nothing burger projects are started up to fill up the books with pointless expenses and run it into the ground for good. Ironmouse is black mailed to stay on contract and eventually instructed to be the closer. Her departure is meant to completely tank confidence in the company with the reveal that the company misused her charity funds. Prior to this event, the talents are given notice that they can freely depart the company if they wish. This whole mass exodus is planned to justify a bankruptcy procedure so they can legally walk away from their creditors to whom they owe millions. The charity situation was set and the money was divvied out over the past year. Note, even last year people knew from financial records that this money never went to any charity, it was even discussed /here/; nothing happened.

Then the final hour comes, poor ol' mousey posts her farewell video, opens with her heckin sad life, explains that she uses vshojo as a bank for some odd reason, goes into the charity money, the gorillion dollars they owe her, and then bails out. Watch closely, she has no lawsuit and nothing will be done by her "lawyers", it's all a smokescreen. The other talents see the place set on fire and jump ship. She then promptly makes a tiltify campaign which focuses attention away from her, smoothing over any notion that that she might be full of it, and everyone moves on. Apek and Melody sell their condo and move to Japan (do your reps), Gunrun retires to his vacation home, Mowtendoo becomes a laughing stock, the LLC company goes bankrupt, the investment firm has nothing to chase, Ironmouse is free of her chains, Kson wins a tinfoil hat, and tons of people finally come out of the woodwork with stories of how this company was ALWAYS a vshitshow.
