Zith-Zi’s objection is drowned out as the fairies—including those trickling in from the other roadways now—cheer for this proclamation from their crazed king. From among their number—only a dozen-and-a-half, by your count—still fewer join the game. Others hang back, either uninterested, or cogent enough to fear the proposed punishment. As four fairies swoop towards the fields and fermentation-pots, the game is afoot, though.

And at least one of you must play.

Of course, the Fair Folk have unfair advantage: as Zith-Zi said, they can neither be seen nor heard by most humans, unless they so desire it. Even an elven mage may struggle, without—for instance—shirin in her system, or <Fairie Fire> to see them by. But you and your sister are both Material girls. To win this—to get a hundun’s boon and avoid its mysterious penance –you’ll need an edge.
