Try to attent when they are around, there's a few expo's or "con's" in my country that doesn't announce their stuff exclusively through facebook, they are all pretty small compared to US standards.
First is the Oslo Comic expo that is pretty much a wedding tent outside of the Deichman library in Grünerløkka, it's in September and the tent is usually extremly humid or hot pending on the weather, booth's are usually filled with local comic book artists, one comic book store and usually one folk school handing out flyers. No one really cosplays and the after party inside the library is usually cramped and frustrateing to navigate cause they all mob infront of the bar and never move around.
There are big named guests sometimes but they usually seem either bored or hungover on their table if they bother to show up.
Entry is free though.
Next is The Game Expo (SpillExpo) in Lillestrøm (20 minutes East of Oslo) which rents a proper convention centre, booths aren't just picnic tables like in the comic expo but proper booths where they sell merch, retro games, comic books, indie studio's showing their games and a store selling all things weeb related. The Electronic's stores and Army have the biggest booths and stores in the expo. Many cosplayers can get really cramped.
Entry is fifty or sixty bucks though.
The last proper Con we had here was DesuCon which ceased to be after 2018, it was really empty sad and shitty when I last attended there so I see why.
