I was surprised no one else mentioned that/noticed back when the game fully came out and she has it on in other CGs, I think it’s just as simple as they didn’t bother with regular sprites for her without some of her stuff on like the CGs. Only clicked once I saw this >>712839859
and realized it’s meant to be what’s underneath.

There’s plenty of stuff like that where you just kind of have to roll with it like their capes not being shown anywhere but gameplay, but their headband/hat things are in the CGs but they’re not on the sprites or the 3D cutscenes. But then they’re wearing the full get up on the goddamn box
