BioWare is literally the "turn your brain off" of CRPGs. Even more so than Bethesda. You would have to be an absolute retard to think they would be able to write anything resembling a good ending. They wrote themselves into a corner with Mass Effect 1. Best possible option they had, which they didn't pick, was unironically to not do anything with the Reapers again. Shepard stops them in ME1. Now on to other adventures.
