devs have basically completely forgotten how to do graphics. like they will throw high poly counts and 8k textures at you like its going out of style, but it means nothing.

their games still look like shit. they still are blurry, actually running at 720p, upscaled to shit, raytraced but somehow still look awful, 15 fps. 2015 was kind of the peak of graphical development, after that its all been downhill. its not even diminishing returns, we are going backwards at light speed.
