Not really. I'm NTA and a Lionfag aside. My favorite scene in 3H is the parlay between Dimitri and Edelgard. Because for just a minute they put aside their assumptions and they just talk frankly with one another. Where Edelgard says the current world order is wrong. That she got fucked over by it. And that the fact she is strong means she has a duty to reshape Fodlan in a way she perceives to be better. While Dimitri counters that no one asked Edelgard to do any of that. That she made a unilateral decision that affected everyone else's lives. That she's making decisions based on her own worldview, decisions that trample all over the weak, while also claiming to be doing this for her. And that the only thing she's doing is making herself the goddess in place of the one she's overthrowing. And it's good because for just a moment there isn't a mustache twirling villain here. Just 2 leaders with conflicting ideologies that they're wrong to stake their lives on.
I was excited to see an expanded version of that in Hopes but then... Edelgard gets turned into a lobotomized baby and now there's yet another asterisk onto Dimitri's victory.
