In that case if Susie was written consistently and in character, Susie would have to be written more aggressive and it'd come off as unlikable. I dont know the right phrase for this but Susie crushing hard on anyone would act more like a dickhead teen boy asking if a YN can get a number.
Its everyday normal behavior but media is generally written by losers mad about guys like Susie asking out their childhood oneitis so it's behavior that you see only in antagonists.
