Oh, I'm using wan2.2. The best workflow for anime-style images still uses the old lightx2v model, which leads to some artifacts sometimes. It's still worth it for the fast generation speed.
I sometimes generate at 720p (takes about 2.5x longer) and the quality is much better, but it's also more likely to cause memory leaks or even complete freezes. For fun little videos I keep the resolution at 480p because I'd rather gen more and pick the most amusing.
I'm also generating 97 frames even though wan2.2 still only natively supports 81. Again this can lead to some issues but I like having the extra second.
